Hand Guided Rental Certification Class – APQS Longarm Machines

Ready to finish your own quilts on a longarm? This required certification class is your first step to renting time on our APQS longarm machines with confidence.

During this comprehensive 3-hour session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of longarm quilting, including machine basics, proper loading techniques, and how to prepare and set up your quilt for success. We’ll also share helpful tips and best practices so your rental time is productive, efficient, and enjoyable.

You’ll complete a small quilt top in class (binding can be added at home), giving you hands-on experience from start to nearly finished project. By the end of the session, you’ll feel confident navigating the machine and ready to schedule independent rental time.

Please Note:
• This class is required before renting machine time.
• The Quick Zip System Renter Set ($45) must be purchased separately on the day of class and is required for certification.
• Maximum recommended quilt top size for class: approximately 40" x 40".
